| I wish I could say that my life was more exciting than the last time i made an entry. I guess it is in a way. I'm still doing the same old thing with school and studying and working the hospital. Classes are still going pretty good. I'm just pretty burned out on studying.
My little sis is living about 45 minutes from me in with my parents this summer. It's been fun getting to hang out with her a little more frequently than when she's at A&M. And my brother left the country on business so his fiance and my sister and I have had lots of fun bonding times. I'll soon be planning a shower for my sis to be.
I'm still dating my handsome prince, Doug! Whoop!! We have had so much fun together. The Lord is constantly blessing our relationship and teaching us new things about life and, more importantly, about trusting Him. Doug took me with him and to meet his extended family in Ohio back in June. First time up north....it was beautiful!! Doug's family was great! I got to spend more time with them over July 4th weekend at Ft. Hood, where I also got to experience one of the most amazing, patriotic celebrations ever!
I'll finish up with summer school around Aug 5th. Then it's Aggie Night at the Astros (Whoop!!) with fellow nursing school, Aggie classmates. In mid-August, I'm off to Florida with one of my dear friends from A&M, Liz. Liz just got engaged last night!!! Whoop!! Way to go Jeff! So Liz and her FIANCE and doug and I are going to Destin to hang out on some real beaches (no offense to my hometown's beaches....hehe).
Last bit of news is that my mom passed her NCLEX test. She is an official RN and loves her new job. Praise God!! | | |
| Well, the Lord has continued to bless me with wonderful grades on my exams. So I was thinking....since the Lord has been with me through each of these exams, I don't think I should ever stray from him again, especially once I get my nursing liscense. Because think about it....he's helped me through each exam....I really don't know anything on my own....I pity and pray for my patients during the times when I am not walking closely with Him. I pray it may never be! | | |

| As of March 23, 2004, I have 29 days until my second semester of nursing school ends! Whoop!! This semester has been absolutely incredible so far. I have kept extremely busy with my studies and work, but I have also managed to have some fun. I love my Bible study that I'm in. BSF has been such an encouragement to me spiritually, and I love the fellowship that comes with it! I also love my job. I work in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU), and I think it's the greatest! Ask me sometime what kind of stuff I get to do on the unit (if you dare!) . I am keeping busy by planning a Raffle Fundraiser for the Galveston County A&M Club, which I am an officer in. If anyone would like to buy a raffle ticket, they are a dollar a piece OR you can get a smashing deal of 6 for 5 dollars! That's what I'm talking about! The last piece of exciting news is that I recently started dating a wonderful guy from Texas A&M. We've known each other for over 4 years! He is an incredible guy! I'm so blessed! Yea!! So that's what's new in my life. Pretty exciting for me; it keeps me busy! God bless! | | |
| Well, everyone else seems to have these fun websites. I'm so uncreative it's not even funny!! Not to mention I'm very computer illiterate. My dad did not that pass that gene to me. Sad! Xanga
